Privacy Policy - the basics

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

I’m Shanoiya Clark-Rhodes, a strategic execution leader with over 10 years of experience across marketing and communications in a variety of industries. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Management from Florida State University and a Master of Science in Communication Management from the University of North Florida, which ground my work in both strategic thinking and practical execution.  My work lives at the intersection of creativity and project management – where strong ideas meet clear execution.

While I enjoy designing thoughtful collateral and developing content, I’ve found that my greatest strength lies in strategic execution. Through my experience as a Marketing Project Manager, I discovered that aligning partners, bringing clarity to process, and driving work forward is where I create the most impact.

My big-picture mindset, paired with hands-on experience in marketing and communications,  allows me to serve as a trusted strategic partner when executing complex, multi-faceted ideas. I understand how marketing and communications components must work together, and how essential that alignment is to launching successful initiatives.

As a Jacksonville, Florida native with a love for travel, I founded SCR Creative Consulting to address a gap I consistently observed in the creative space: the disconnect between great ideas and their execution. SCR Creative Consulting exists to bridge that gap, ensuring thoughtful creative work is implemented with structure, intention, and results.
